What I Actually Stack Around Sun

The spray. The lotion. The aloe. If you've been reading the last two issues, those are already on your shelf. What's missing is the panel — and the reason it goes last.

Red light therapy is one of those things that sounds like a wellness trend until you do it consistently for three weeks. Then it's the thing that's harder to skip than the rest of the stack. Here's how it fits and why the order matters.

The Order · How the Stack Actually Works

Sun → cool down → moisture → light

After a sun day: shower while skin is still warm. Spray on the After Sun while you're still damp — it absorbs faster and the cooling effect is immediate. Follow with the Aloe + Lavender once you're dry. The Coconut Ylang Ylang body lotion closes everything in. Then, 20–30 minutes later, the panel.

Red light doesn't do its best work on top of product. Give the skin a short window and let the wavelengths reach the dermis directly. That's the order. That's the whole protocol.

The Investment · The Panel

PlatinumLED BioMax Series — Red + Near-Infrared Therapy Panel

Ten minutes. Panel six to twelve inches from skin. Both red (660nm) and near-infrared (850nm) active simultaneously — that combination is what separates a clinical-grade panel from the cheap alternatives. Red works at the surface. Near-infrared goes deeper into tissue and cells.

After a sun day specifically, this is the recovery tool. It doesn't replace SPF or the post-sun stack — it completes it. The skin has already been through something. This is the repair layer.

I use the BioMax series. The power density is what makes it worth the price — you're not sitting in front of it for 45 minutes. Ten minutes, then done. That's the difference between a panel that's part of the routine and one that collects dust.

Step One in the Stack · The Spray

Plant Therapy After Sun Spray

Still on the counter. Still the first thing that goes on after a sun day. Aloe, lavender, peppermint — the three things skin actually wants after heat. Two weeks in and this is the item the rest of the stack is built around.

If you haven't grabbed it yet and you're reading this in May — the timing is right.

The Full Sun Stack · Quick Reference
1. After Sun Spray — on damp skin right after shower
2. Plant Therapy Aloe + Lavender — once dry
3. Coconut Ylang Ylang Body Lotion — seals everything in
4. PlatinumLED panel — 20–30 min after product, 10 min session

That's it. Everything from the last three issues is in that stack.

One more thing. A few of you replied “salt” after the last couple of issues. There’s something in the works around that — a single-origin mineral salt sourced from waters a long way from a grocery store shelf. Nothing to share yet. But if you want to know when it’s ready, just reply to this with “salt” and I’ll make sure you’re first.
